I run my fears away, calm and tranquility ensue. Since I can remember I have always loved running through the woods, fascinated by it’s growth and fertility. Any issues I might have are put into perspective. My smallness apparent, my breathing at one with mother earth, the trees always majestic over me. I wonder how many hundreds of years they have been here? What they have seen? What they have endured? It comforts me to be running amongst them. Some days I would just stop, look in awe. How many of us have they seen come and go? Eventually I brought my camera to the woods so I could capture their Strength. During this period, a friend was going through some health issue, I kept thinking of her and how fragile she was. She eventually came back to good health. This is a tribute to her and human nature, how resilient we are and our Strength & Survival.
